Updating Beneficiaries
This month, take some time to make sure your beneficiary information is correct. This includes your 401(k), any IRAs, and both group and individual life insurance policies.
This is also a good time to let your beneficiaries know they are your beneficiary or at least make sure your financial planner/advisor knows all of this information.
This will not take much of your time, but is something you should do every couple of years.
