Who We Are

Shepherd Financial is a fee-based financial planning and wealth management firm based in Woodstock, Ga. Our firm was created to guide those who may feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled to a life of clarity significance by helping them think about money differently. We help you organize your financial picture and direct your money in a way that aligns with your values and priorities.

We believe that people want or need three things in life: to be heard, to be understood, and to feel safe. It’s impossible to start or continue on a journey if the person guiding you doesn’t understand you.

Be Heard

How refreshing is it when someone truly listens to you? When you work with us, we take our time to listen. We are not in a rush. Our goal is to not just listen to you, but to HEAR you.

We realize that it’s possible for someone to hear you, but still not understand you. We work hard to facilitate discussions to help us understand what makes you unique as well as what helped shape you along the way. Our goal is that before we begin to build out your financial plan, you genuinely feel that we understand YOU.

Feel Safe

Safety can mean different things to different people. Physical safety is an obvious need and very important. When we talk about feeling safe, we are referring to emotional safety. Trust is something that is earned. Our goal is to create a place where you feel comfortable sharing who you are, what makes you unique, and your passions and desires with us.
